Melissa Pikoos

Esthetician

Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, where I studied at the International Academy of Health and Skin Care for 2 years.  I obtained an ITEC diploma, CIDESCO international diploma and SAAHSP diploma in Esthetics and Physiatrist.  In my second year of studies I obtained an award for “Best Practice Student”.  When I completed my studies I joined Princess Cruises where I worked aboard the “Dawn Princess” cruise ship on a 9-month contract, where I learnt to interact with people from all over the world. Before working for Dr. Miller I was an Esthetics teacher at Marinello Schools of Beauty and taught for 2 years. I enjoy volunteering outside of work and have worked with Hospice of the Valley and O’Connor Hospital. My hope is to volunteer at the animal shelter soon.  I am a busy mom with two young boys and enjoy spending time outdoors with them. I love the outdoors, travel and learning new things.
